Anything with a mouth can bite! But snakes only bite for two reasons: when they’re scared or to eat their prey. We are not their prey, and our ambassador snakes are well socialized and used to people, so as long as we make them feel safe, they have no reason to bite. There is always the possibility that a mistake could happen, but it is extremely unlikely as long as safety protocols and instructions are followed.
